Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir is quite outspoken in nature. He never shies away from speaking his mind and his opinions often spark an outrage on social media.

Over the years, Gambhir has had his issues with star India batter Virat Kohli. During the IPL 2013 season, the then KKR skipper was involved in a heated face-off with the RCB batter before they were separated by other players.

A similar incident was also witnessed in this year’s IPL as LSG mentor Gambhir had an ugly spat with Kohli. The altercation created quite a stir in the cricket fraternity and it continues to draw attention even after seven months.

Amid the speculations about their relationship, Gambhir recently won plenty of hearts with his statement regarding Kohli's 50th ODI ton.

Kohli slammed his record-breaking 50th ODI century during the World Cup 2023 semi-final against New Zealand in Mumbai last month.

Ahead of the third ODI between India and South Africa in Paarl on Thursday (December 21), Gambhir was quizzed on which bowler's over Kohli achieved the historic feat of 50th ODI hundred.

"Lockie Ferguson. Ye aap baar baar dikhana, mujhe sab kuch yaad rehta hai. Ladai meri sirf on the field hai (Please show this clip again and again, I remember everything. My fight is only on the field)," Gambhir replied while speaking to Star Sports.
