Samit Dravid, the son of former India captain and current India head coach Rahul Dravid, is following in his father's footsteps. He recently hit 98 in a Cooch Behar Trophy U19 match for Karnataka against Jammu and Kashmir.
Samit's amazing knock of 13 fours and a six helped Karnataka upset J&K by an innings and 130 runs. In the video, which has gone viral on social media, Dravid's son can be seen playing some incredibly enticing strokes.
According to a Times Now source, in the Cooch Behar Trophy game, J&K batted first and scored 170. In Karnataka's innings, Samit batted at No. 5 and contributed 233 runs for the fourth wicket with Karthikeya KP. The latter top-scored with 163 off 175 balls.
Karnataka declared their first innings on 480/5 in 100 overs, owing to Samit and Karthikeya's superb batting. J&K lost the game by an innings deficit after failing to compel Karnataka to bat again.
