India batting superstar Virat Kohli is celebrating his 35th birthday on November 5, 2023. He’ll be looking to make his special day more spectacular as India faces South Africa in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 tournament in Kolkata.
Kohli has been one of the stars with the bat for India in the tournament, scoring 442 runs in 7 innings with one century and 4 fifties to his name. He is also one ton short of equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries as well.
Meanwhile, Kohli is considered to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, batter in ODI cricket. And his record speaks for itself. In 288 ODIs, Kohli has 13525 runs thus far with 48 centuries and 70 fifties to his name. He averages 58.04 and his strike rate is 93.63.
To have such a record since making his debut in 2008, Kohli is amazing when it comes to consistency with the bat.
And as he celebrates his 35th century at Eden Gardens, there will be hopes of him scoring a century to make the occasion even more special.
