WATCH- Team India players engage in a game of cricket with local volunteers ahead of Asian Games semi-final

India will play Bangladesh in the semi-final of the men's cricket event in Asian Games.

Shivam Dube and Arshdeep Singh | BCCI XThe Indian men’s cricket team which started their Asian Games with a win over Nepal in quarter-finals, played a quick game with the local volunteers in Hangzhou, China. The Indian men's cricket team's journey in the Asian Games 2023 has been historic, as this is the first time they are participating in the event.

The Indian men's cricket team is set to play their semi-final fixture in the Asian Games against Bangladesh. Set to be held on 6 October, India will remain to be the favorite to reach the final of the tournament.

On the eve of the Bangladesh encounter, Indian cricketers found a little free time to engage with the local kids in Hangzhou, China. The likes of Arshdeep Singh, and Shivam Dube along with others played a quick match of cricket with the young kids.

BCCI shared a video of the same, where the kids can be seen enjoying themselves in the company of Indian cricketers.

Earlier in the match against Nepal, Yashasvi Jaiswal became the youngest Indian to score a T20I century. Apart from him, Rinku Singh with the bat and Ravi Bishnoi with the ball starred as well.
