“Honesty, Secret of Success”- R Sai Kishore shares old post after India debut in Asian Games

Sai Kishore became the first Indian to take 3 catches on his T20I debut.

R Sai Kishore tearing up during Indian national anthem | XTalented Tamil Nadu left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore realized his dream of playing for India as he made his T20I debut in the ongoing Asian Games. India defeated Nepal in their quarterfinal match in Hangzhou, China.

India made their debut in both men’s and women’s cricketing events at the Asian Games. India's women’s team already pocketed the gold medal and has urged the men’s team to do so as well.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is leading a second-string Indian team filled with IPL superstars and they made an immediate impact in their first match. India posted 202/4 with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring a century and Rinku Singh making 37* in 15 balls.

On the other hand, Nepal made India sweat in the chase, but could only make 179/9 in 20 overs, losing by 23 runs. Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets each, while R Sai Kishore took one scalp. But he also took three catches in the field to contribute to India’s win.

Sai Kishore was seen tearing up during the Indian national anthem, as he made his India debut. He swelled up during the national anthem and his compatriot Washington Sundar was also seen comforting him.

In the aftermath, Sai Kishore reposted an old message he had made on Twitter (now X). He had shared: “Im gonna make it and retweet this tweet then.”

He reposted this with a new message in Tamil which translated into English read: “Honesty The Secret of Success

Not only this, but R Sai Kishore also shared a tribute to his gurus, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, and his IPL franchises, Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Titans for helping him in his journey to the Indian team.

He captioned the post: “MIRACLES DO COME TRUE.  Not here because of talent or ability. Here because of 4ams, hard work and a dream which didn't make me sleep for some years now. An ordinary boy in Madipakkam dreaming of playing for the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM and actually making it, MIRACLES DO COME TURE. Grateful to the universe, Family, and friends.
