Ace Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi tied the knot with Ansha, the daughter of former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi on September 19, 2023. Earlier, Shaheen and Ansha had a nikah ceremony on February 3 in Karachi.
The couple wanted to share their happiness with the public and their loved ones with a wedding ceremony, that was organized in Karachi on September 19 and a valima reception awaits guests on September 21, 2023.
The highlight of the occasion apart from the married couple was Pakistan team captain Babar Azam arriving at the venue and giving a big hug to groom Shaheen Afridi.
Babar himself also took to Twitter (formerly X) to congratulate Shaheen on the nuptials.
This comes as a huge relief due to rumors of infighting between the two stars of the Pakistani team as reports had said that there was a rift between Babar and Shaheen after the Asia Cup 2023 debacle.
Several pictures and videos of Babar and Shaheen's moments together on the occasion have surfaced on social media. The pictures haven't only rubbished the rumors that were being spread on the internet but also emphasized the brotherly bond the two carry.
