India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is currently on the road to recovery after surviving a near-fatal car accident last December.
Pant is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. He has been keeping his fans updated about his recovery through social media posts.
On Monday (September 4), the southpaw shared a clip on Instagram, in which he can be seen running intensely under the supervision of his trainer.
“Thankful to god at least I have started seeing some light in the dark tunnel. # blessed,” Pant captioned the video.
Rishabh Pant was last seen in action during the tour of Bangladesh in December 2022. Mirpur Test against Bangladesh was his last appearance before he met with the accident.
While there is no clarity on his comeback yet, there are reports claiming that the left-hander will remain out of all action in 2023, including the 50-over World Cup at home in October-November.
