Rinku Singh once again made his fans remember his IPL 2023 performance of hitting 5 sixes in an over for Kolkata Knight Riders to win the match after he helped his team Meerut Mavericks triumph over Kashi Rudras in the UPT20 League match.

Needing 17 runs to secure victory in the Super Over, Rinku and Divyansh Joshi were given the task. Rinku failed to score a run on the first ball but he showcased remarkable prowess and dispatched the subsequent three balls over the ropes.

Earlier, Madhav Kaushik's impressive knock of 87 runs helped Meerut post 181/4 on the scoreboard. In response, Karan Sharma (58) and Shivam Bansal (57) both played pivotal roles for the Kashi Rudras before the match ended in a tie.

In the super over, Rinku was up against left-arm spinner Shiva Singh and he played a dot ball to start the Super Over after Kashi had posted 16 for 1. Then Rinku took up the challenge and hit Shiva Singh for three sixes in the next three balls to win the match by Mavericks.

Shiva Singh bowled the second delivery full and wide but Rinku was up to the task, hitting it over the long-off boundary. The next ball was a juicy full-toss and Rinku Singh did not hesitate to hit it into the deep mid-wicket stands.

5 runs were needed off the last 3 balls and Shiva Singh opted to go wide once again and Rinku deposited it over the cover boundary to seal a sensational victory.
