Rahkeem Cornwall is often dubbed as the ‘heaviest cricketer’ in the world owing to his 140 kg plus weight which makes him an amazing cricketer to watch. He is an all-rounder, bowling off-spin and a hard-hitting batter in the middle order.

However, due to his weight, Cornwall is limited in what he can do on the field and often struggles with running between the wickets as well.

In one of the most viewed videos from the CPL in 2017, Kieron Pollard can be seen criticizing Cornwall as he left the field after getting hit in the stomach by a pacy delivery. Pollard wasn’t impressed with Cornwall’s gestures and taunted the batsman on his inability to continue with his game.

And now on the second night of the CPL 2023, Rahkeem Cornwall was once again in the news after he was run out poorly in a match between Barbados Royals and St. Lucia Kings in Gros Islet.

Chasing the target of over 200 runs, Cornwall knew his team needed to score quick runs, but the big fella wasn't fast between the wickets right at the beginning of the chase.

Cornwall faced a delivery from Matthew Forde and inside edged it towards short fine-leg and set off for a run. Chris Sole misfielded the ball a bit but recovered quickly enough to hurl the ball towards the stumps at non-striker’s end.

The opener despite seeing the ball coming towards his end, couldn’t run fast enough and the fielder scored a direct hit with Cornwall well short of the ground. He was dismissed for a golden duck.
