Pant has been making huge strides as he aims to comeback to cricket | XIndian batter-keeper Rishabh Pant batted for the first time in the middle after 8 months since his horrific car accident which left him with some serious injuries.

Pant was involved in a serious car accident on December 30 last year and underwent initial medical procedures in Dehradun itself, before BCCI airlifted him to Mumbai for further treatment, including a knee surgery.

Since then, Pant, who missed a lot of cricket for India, had been recovering and rehabbing at the NCA in Bengaluru and reports had suggested that he had started batting in the nets and even began keeping wickets as well in a light comeback to cricket.

However, in a viral video, Rishabh Pant was seen entering the ground to bat in the middle for the first time in more than 8 months on India’s Independence Day on Tuesday.

In a video shared by JSW Foundation chairperson Sangita Jindal, Pant could be seen urging the listeners not to miss the enjoyment in life.

Once you keep growing older, you stop loving the game. One of the reasons is that there is a lot of pressure, you want to excel in life and do this and that. But wo enjoyment nahi miss karna hai life mein, (Don’t miss the enjoyment in life),” Pant could be heard saying in the video.
