WATCH: “I'm coming home,” Jasprit Bumrah shares video of him bowling at full throttle in nets

Bumrah is likely to return to action during the T20I tour of Ireland next month.

Jasprit Bumrah | GettyIndia’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been away from competitive action for nearly a year now. Bumrah missed the Asia Cup 2022, the T20 World Cup 2022 and the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season due to a recurring back injury.

Bumrah underwent a back surgery in March this year and his recovery process has been underway at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru since then.

Now, in what should be a positive news for the Indian cricket fans, Bumrah on Tuesday (July 18) shared a clip of pictures showing him bowling at full throttle in the nets.

In his Instagram post, the ace pacer tagged the Indian cricket team’s official handle and also added a song, “Tell the world, I’m coming home.”

According to reports, Jasprit Bumrah will make a comeback to the Indian team during the T20I tour of Ireland next month.

Since Bumrah is one of India’s key players in the 50-over format, the Men in Blue would hope that he regains his match fitness soon and produce his best for the team in the forthcoming Asia Cup and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
