Ace India spinner R Ashwin sent a funny birthday wish to former India captain MS Dhoni which came with a disclaimer as well.

‘July 7’ is a significant day for Indian cricket fans since it marks the birthday of their favorite "Captain Cool," Mahendra Singh Dhoni. On Friday, as Dhoni turned 42, congratulations came in from top cricketers around the world as well as from millions of admirers on social media.

One of the most unique wishes to Dhoni came from none other than Ravichandran Ashwin, who is known for his straightforward, yet hilarious social media posts.

Ashwin wrote: "Tweeting on July 7th without wishing the great man a happy birthday can prove to be catastrophic. Happy birthday Mahi bhai."

He also added a disclaimer using a hashtag that read: “#disclaimer this will be my last birthday wish on Twitter for anyone. I believe I will stick to wishing them directly or call them.  The disclaimer was for all gossip mongers and story spinners.”

Notably, Ashwin had made his India debut under the captaincy of MS Dhoni and also played in the IPL for the first time for Chennai Super Kings under Dhoni’s captaincy.
