Hardik Pandya and his wife and actress Natasa Stankovic had gotten married in 2020 during the pandemic and have a son together as well.
In February this year, the pair decided to have a grand wedding in Udaipur which was attended by all family including brother Krunal, his wife Pankhuri and their son Agastya apart from friends.
In a viral video clip from the festivities, Hardik Pandya is seen haggling with his sister-in-law, Pankhuri, who is his elder brother Krunal’s wife, about his shoes.
This was part of the wedding tradition called ‘Jhuta Churai’ in which the sister-in-law steals the shoes of the groom playfully and asks for money or gifts in return.
Pankhuri is seen asking for 1 lakh rupees to return Pandya’s shoes and the Indian all-rounder can be heard saying he will give instead her five lakhs in a jovial exchange. He then proceeds to ask someone in the crowd to transfer the amount to Pankhuri’s bank account.
