Former India captain Virat Kohli spoke about the things that make him happy in life and mentioned that doing things that make his mother happy brings him the most joy. Furthermore, he mentioned how he always knew he would play for India.
This came in a light-hearted conversation with Star Sports’ Jatin Sapru, where Kohli showed his immense love for his mother Saroj. Notably, Kohli had lost his father when he was just 17 due to a massive heart attack.
The Delhi batter stated that taking care of his mother is very important to him.
“I have always felt like taking care of my mother is very important to me. So, for me even today a small thing that can make her happy is the thing that makes me happy,” Kohli said.

The 34-year-old also revealed that even while growing up he was pretty confident in his ability and said that he knew he’d go on to represent India at the top level.
“I always knew that I would play cricket for India at the top level," Virat was heard saying.
Virat Kohli himself is a father to a doting young daughter Vamika, who was born to him and wife Anushka Sharma in January 2021.
