Rishabh Pant | GettyIndia wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is currently on the road to recovery after surviving a horrific car crash.

On 30th December 2022, Pant’s car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun expressway and caught fire, forcing him to break the car window and get out of the vehicle.

As a result, the southpaw sustained multiple injuries and he is currently undergoing rehabilitation, which is likely to keep him out of action for the major chunk of 2023.

Since his discharge from the hospital, Pant is quite active on social media. The 25-year-old has been regularly posting photos and videos on social media, providing update on his recovery.

While responding to a tweet, Rishabh Pant on Sunday (June 4) admitted that he is missing playing cricket.

Notably, Pant was last seen in action during the tour of Bangladesh in December last year. Mirpur Test against Bangladesh was his last appearance before he met with the accident.

“I am also missing playing cricket,” Rishabh’s reply read to a post that stated, “Rishabh Pant, we miss you. Sincerely, every cricket lover across the world.”

Last month, Rishabh Pant shared a video on Instagram, in which he was seen throwing away crutches and walking without support.
