Wasim Jaffer and a fan poke Michael Vaughan about England's 0-3 whitewash vs Bangladesh; he replies aptly

England was whitewashed by Bangladesh for the first time in any format at home.

Vaughan got one up on Jaffer despite the Indian cricketer's dig at England's 0-3 loss | TwitterFormer England captain Michael Vaughan came back with a couple of amazing replies to an Indian fan and his social media rival and former India opener Wasim Jaffer, after being reminded of England’s recent 0-3 whitewash in the T20I series against Bangladesh.

The defending T20 World Cup champions were routed 0-3 by the Shakib Al Hasan-starred Bangladeshi team.

In response, Bangladesh U19 batting consultant Wasim Jaffer led to take a dig at his friend Michael Vaughan by tweeting, “Hello @MichaelVaughan, long time no see #BANvENG

To this, Vaughan quoted Jaffer’s tweet with a photo of England captain Jos Buttler with the T20 World cup trophy with caption reading: “Morning Wasim

Meanwhile, before Vaughan replied to Wasim, a Twitter user sought Vaughan’s response to England’s humiliating white-wash in the T20I series. “Do Twitt (tweet) about world champion they lost in Bangladesh 3-0," a Twitter user urged Vaughan to respond.

They did .. But they are still world champions .. England seem to be very good at peaking for the World cups now .. it’s a good trait to have .. India should try and follow suit,” Vaughan responded.

Vaughan's response also sparked a debate on Twitter. "Normally I don't like ur tweets but in these tweet u says a fact. Winning a world Cup is much more important. I will prefer 1 WC over 3 bilateral series victories even that victories is in overseas," a fan wrote.

"Its England who followed the suit of India. India already had 2 ODI wc and a t20 wc before "game inventers" got their first one on "boundary count" just about 4 years ago," another Twitter user added.
