Former New Zealand cricketer-turned-commentator Simon Doull is hogging the headlines these days with his on-air remarks.

Doull is currently in Pakistan to cover the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as a commentator. He recently caught everyone’s attention for criticizing Peshawar Zalmi skipper Babar Azam’s ‘selfish’ knock against Quetta Gladiators.

After his comments on Babar created quite a stir in Pakistan, Simon Doull is trending on social media once again for passing a comment on Hasan Ali’s wife, who was seen cheering for Islamabad United during a PSL match against Multan Sultans on Tuesday (March 7).

In a video doing rounds on social media, Doull can be heard praising Hasan’s wife Samiyaa Arzoo’s beauty by making a comment on-air.

After Islamabad chased down Multan’s target of 206 with two wickets in hand and only one ball to spare, cameras caught Hasan’s wife celebrating the victory of his husband’s team.

At the time, Simon Doull was doing commentary and he said: "She has won it. She has won a few hearts as well, I believe. That is superb, absolutely stunning. And the victory."
