Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators locked horns with each other in Match 25 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 at Pindi Club Ground on Wednesday (March 9).

In a high-scoring affair, Gladiators defeated Zalmi by eight wickets. Babar Azam (115) and Jason Roy (145*) starred with the bat for their respective teams as both of them slammed stunning centuries.

During the match, the rivalry between Wahab Riaz and Martin Guptill also entertained the fans. In the third over of Quetta’s innings, Guptill smashed Riaz for three boundaries in four balls before the left-arm pacer bounced back to send the opening batter back to the dressing room on the fifth delivery.

It was a caught and bowled dismissal as Wahab Riaz came halfway down the pitch to complete a return catch.

After claiming the wicket, Riaz decided to hug Guptill. The out-of-favour Pakistan fast bowler didn’t stop there as he went on to kiss Guptill’s helmet as well.

Taking to Twitter, the official handle of PSL posted a video of the incident with the caption, “"I got this", said @WahabViki”.
