Riyan Parag | Rajasthan Royals/TwitterRajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Riyan Parag imitated former Indian skipper MS Dhoni’s mannerisms while keeping in a video shared by his IPL team on Twitter.

“Riyan Parag loves MS Dhoni!” RR captioned the video, in which Riyan was seen taking tips from the coach while standing behind the stumps.

During the training, the 21-year-old was asked to mimic Dhoni’s gestures. Parag then shook his shoulders just like the way Dhoni does.

“Make a horizontal line with a 2-foot length. This will be your hand range, and you must sit in the centre. Couch and sit down with your hands forward. Your knee should be flexed as you receive,” Riyan Parag’s coach said in the video.

“Accha. Mahi Bhai, Mahi Bhai…Do this like Mahi bhai,” said Parag’s teammates.

Touted as one of the emerging stars, Riyan Parag has been in fantastic form for Assam this season in domestic cricket. He will be looking to carry his form to the 2023 edition of IPL.

In 47 IPL games so far, Parag has scored 522 runs with two half-centuries. He has also taken four wickets with his leg-spin.
