Ace Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Afridi officially became the son-in-law of former captain Shahid Afridi as he got married to his eldest daughter Ansha in a glittering ceremony on February 3, 2023.

The Nikaah ceremony took place in the city of Karachi with Shaheen’s teammates from former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed to the current skipper Babar Azam in attendance. According to reports, a reception was held soon after the nikah (wedding).

Shaheen’s family reached Karachi two days earlier for the wedding and the couple’s mehndi function was held on Thursday night.

His PSL franchise Lahore Qalandars shared videos and photos of Shaheen and Shahid Afridi including the nikah ceremony where Shaheen says ‘Qubool hai’.

Then members of the Pakistan cricket community including the likes of Mohammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah, and others clicked photos with the groom Shaheen.
