Gill, Kishan and Chahal were seen impersonating popular show Roadies | ScreengrabShubman Gill starred with the bat in India’s series-clinching 168-run victory over New Zealand in the third and final T20I at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Wednesday (February 1).

Opening the innings, Gill slammed 126 not out off 63 balls, propelling the hosts to a mammoth 234/4 in 20 overs. With this knock, he also became only the fifth Indian batter after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli to smash a century in forms of the game.

Apart from his batting exploits, Shubman is winning the hearts of the cricket fans with his strong social media game as well.

On Thursday (February 2), the 23-year-old shared a reel on Instagram where he can be seen engaging in some hilarious banter with Ishan Kishan and Yuzvendra Chahal.

The three Indian cricketers were seen impersonating popular show Roadies in their hotel room. While Kishan and Chahal played the role of judge, Gill donned the avatar of a desperate contestant.

“Roadies reloaded via recreating our favourite moment,” Gill captioned the video.

Besides the third T20I, Shubman Gill also stole the limelight in the ODI series against New Zealand by hitting a double hundred and a century in the first and third game respectively.

Gill will be next seen in action in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, starting February 9 in Nagpur.
