The premier franchise tournament of South Africa, the SA20, has seen some sensational performances. Local talent has set the tournament on fire with their exploits with some sensational knocks and bowling performances capturing the eye of the crowd and viewers on TV as well.
There have been some excellent fielding efforts as well like the one-handed catch at the boundary by Will Jacks recently. But this time, something unusual happened in a game between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and MI Cape Town, the video of which is doing rounds on social media.
Video features presenter Zainab Abbas, who found herself on the floor and in a bit of trouble recently. While conducting an interview near the boundary lines, Zainab Abbas took a major tumble after getting swiped by a diving fielder from MI Cape Town during the game.
The incident happened in the 13th over of the second innings, when Marco Jansen was batting for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape team. Marco Jansen was playing an innings of a lifetime and pulled Sam Curran in the 13th over that went flat to the mid-wicket area.

Two MI Cape Town players gave the ball a chase and one of them running in from the square gave a valiant dive. The dive took him outside the boundary line in the process catching Abbas on the leg. Zainab found herself flat on her back end in the aftermath.

She stood up quickly afterwards confirming to the commentary team in the studio that she was fine and did not cop a major blow to her calf.
