Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh made cricket fans all over the world nostalgic with a viral post of his featuring autographs of the Team India squad members from the 2007 World Cup which was played in the West Indies.

India didn’t have a very good time at the tournament, as the team managed to win only one match in Group B where they were grouped with Bermuda, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid, India started off with a loss to Bangladesh in Port of Spain, failing to defend 191 runs, as the Tigers won by 5 wickets and 9 balls to spare. In the next match, India created a World Cup record by becoming the first team in tournament history to post a total of over 400 runs.

They made 413/5 against Bermuda and dismissed them for 156 runs to register a win by 257 runs, their largest margin of victory in ODIs to date.

“I am almost done with BCCI,” Murali Vijay looking for 'opportunities abroad'

They needed to win their last group match against Sri Lanka, but failed to chase the 255-run target and were bowled out for 185 runs, losing the game by 69 runs. This also meant that India crashed out of the tournament in group stages, with only one win to their name.

Harbhajan Singh, who was part of that Indian squad, shared the autograph sheet of all the members of the squad on Instagram, which went viral pretty soon.

He captioned the post: “Worldcup 2007 Team.. Autograph sheets we use to sign for fans across the world .. Ab selfie ka zamana hai . Par autograph sab k pass pahunchte the selfie k liye koi koi pass aa sakta hai #indiancricket
