Team India’s senior batter Virat Kohli wasn’t picked for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, starting on January 3, 2023. That led to many speculations, with many saying the dashing right-hander was dropped from the T20I team, as he will return for the ODI series against Sri Lanka at home.
However, there were reports of Kohli taking a short break before the busy international schedule to spend time with his family, as Team India is scheduled to host Australia in a bilateral series in February-March after the Sri Lanka and New Zealand white-ball series, followed by the IPL 2023.
However, the BCCI didn’t give any clarification over Kohli’s non-selection, but now the pictures posted by the cricketer and his wife on social media prove that the former Indian skipper is on holiday with his family in Dubai.
On Saturday, December 31, Kohli shared a picture on Instagram where he can be seen enjoying the last sunrise of the year 2022 with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika in Dubai.
Well, Kohli is currently spending time with his family in Dubai before embarking on national duty, so it would be a welcome relief for his fans amid rumours of his exclusion from the T20I squad.
On the other hand, the Bollywood actress also shared a picture on her Instagram with Kohli roaming on the streets of Dubai, UAE. Anushka also shared multiple pictures on her Insta story from their vacation.
