Ever since the news of Rishabh Pant's horrifying car accident broke out, cricketers from all around the world have been expressing their concerns and wishing the Indian wicketkeeper-batter a speedy recovery on social media.
Pant was admitted to the Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Center after he met with a horrific accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand, early on Friday morning (December 30).
Pant’s car reportedly collided with a divider at the Narsan border of Roorkee. However, the Indian cricketer escaped major injury, despite his car getting gutted in the fire following the accident. He is currently under the supervision of medical experts at the Max Hospital in Dehradun.

Meanwhile, India’s batting superstar Virat Kohli joined the long list of cricket fraternity members who have been wishing for Pant’s speedy recovery. Kohli took to Twitter to extend his wishes to the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman after his brutal accident occurred on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
Virat Kohli tweeted: “Get well soon @RishabhPant17. Praying for your recovery.”
Notably, BCCI said in a statement that Pant “has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.”
Pant was rested for the upcoming limited-overs series against Sri Lanka at home and was supposed to report to NCA for strength and conditioning training.
