Jasprit Bumrah has been missed by the Indian team and its supporters ever since he hurt his back during the ODI series in England in July. The problem kept him out of the Asia Cup in UAE, following which he returned in the home T20I series against Australia only to aggravate the injury once again and be ruled out of the T20 World Cup.

Diagnosed as a 'stress reaction' to the back, Bumrah has spent a lot of his time lately at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for his recovery and rehabilitation. He was rested for the New Zealand and Bangladesh tours to let him recover fully from the injury.

It seems the patience of the team management and BCCI has finally paid off, as Bumrah posted a video clip on his Instagram, from the NCA where he can be seen bowling at "full throttle" to the batters at the nets. The pacer seems ready for a return to onfield action which is good news for India.

With Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia visiting India in the first quarter of 2023, the Indian team would hope their ace speedster is completely fit to lead the attack once again, especially during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series which could also decide India's fate in terms of qualification for the World Test Championship final.
