WATCH- Chris Lynn and Alex Hales play ‘rock-paper-scissors’ to decide who takes strike in Abu Dhabi T10 eliminator

Chris Lynn and Alex Hales | TwitterThe Abu Dhabi T10 league has seen some of the most innovative batting in cricket given that only 10 overs to play per innings. And Chris Lynn and Alex Hales of Team Abu Dhabi have been at the forefront of that carnage with the bat.

Recently, when their side play the eliminator match of the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 league, something straight out of gully cricket was seen as Hales and Lynn used something very simple to decide who will take strike.

The duo played a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who will take the strike and the video of them playing this silly thing has gone viral on the internet.

Many found it hilarious that such a petty thing like that has been decided as the opening partners, who have played for a long time, have an understanding of who takes the strike.

Talking about the match, Nicholas Pooran’s Deccan Gladiators batted first after losing the toss and managed 94/6 in 10 overs with Odean Smith making 36, while Naveen Ul Haq picked 2/10. In reply, Alex Hales made 1 and Chris Lynn managed just 13 runs. James Vince made 21 and Adil Rashid made 18*, but Team Abu Dhabi could only manage 89/8 and lost the match by 5 runs.

Sultan Ahmed, Zahir Khan, Josh Little and Tabraiz Shamsi picked two wickets each as Gladiators eliminated Team Abu Dhabi out of the tournament.
