MS Dhoni has been synonymous with the helicopter shot which he used to good effect to dig out yorkers and hit them for sixes off fast bowlers. While many have tried to copy this shot of his, but Dhoni’s way of hitting the shot remains loved to this day and he keeps bringing it out now and then.
Dhoni used his bottom hand to hit the ball with full force in the air when it was pitched right up to him at yorker length and more often than not, the ball sailed into the crowds.
And while there are many videos of cricketers and fans emulating Dhoni’s iconic shot, now his former teammate, Harbhajan Singh too, has tried to emulate the helicopter shot, but not with a cricket bat.

In a video posted on his Instagram feed, Harbhajan Singh can be seen emulating the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman's shot with a golf club, in what seems like a private golf course. In fact, after hitting the shot, Harbhajan was also seen celebrating.
"???? cricket helicopters???? shot and ⛳️ Golf ???? helicopter .. Smooth Ride ???? @mahi7781 @topgolfdubai #cricket #golf #sports ❤️", the former off-spinner captioned the post.
MS Dhoni will next be seen in IPL 2023 when he leads the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they are slated to return to their home ground of Chepauk, with IPL 2023 returning to home and away matches.
