It was a day for multiple celebrations as three Sri Lankan players got married in the middle of the ODI series against Afghanistan at home. Kasun Rajitha, Pathum Nissanka, and Charith Asalanka got married to their loved ones during the three-day break in the series.

Afghanistan won the first ODI of the series and with that win, qualified for the 2023 World Cup as well. The second ODI of the series was washed out due to rain.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka cricket congratulated the trio on their special day with a post of their photos on social media. “Congratulations to Charith Asalanka, Pathum Nissanka and Kasun Rajitha!"- wrote SLC with a ring emoji.

After the formalities of the marriages were done, the whole team had a grand celebration combined, and all the cricketers grooved to Hindi songs.

One of the videos has gone viral in which five cricketers, Rajitha himself, Ramesh Mendis, Praveen Jayawickrama, Dilshan Madushanka, and Lasith Embuldeniya were seen dancing to Bollywood chartbuster 'Desi Girl'.

The cricketers were accompanied by some local dancers and the cricketers did well to follow the choreography which impressed everyone.
