Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently taking baby steps towards recovery after undergoing a knee surgery, left the fans in splits and a bit of shock on Thursday (September 29) when he posted a tweet about former Indian cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar.
Manjrekar and Jadeja have a bitter history behind them as the former cricketer had called the latter a 'bits and pieces' cricketer during the 2019 World Cup, something that made the all-rounder react sharply on Twitter saying he has played much more cricket than him for India and that his commentary is verbal diarrhoea.
Manjrekar is known for his blunt remarks but ever since he has often praised Jadeja for the improvements he has made in his game, particularly batting in all three formats.
Recently, the duo came face-to-face in Dubai during the Asia Cup 2022, where Jadeja played a crucial knock to help India beat Pakistan in the first round and Manjrekar happened to be the person chosen by the broadcaster to interview the cricketer.

Manjrekar cheekily asked Jadeja whether he would be okay to answer his questions to which the cricketer warmly replied in the affirmative saying that he had no problem in doing so.
Now on Thursday, Jadeja took a picture from his mobile phone of Manjrekar from the post-match presentation ceremony of a match between Manipal Tigers and India Capitals in the Legends League Cricket, and funnily captioned it on Twitter, “Watching my dear friend on screen”.
Jadeja injured his knee in the Asia Cup forcing him to miss the Super 4s and will also miss the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
