Pakistan captain Babar Azam has shown some good form in the ongoing T20I series against England, scoring his second century in the format as well. With the series level 1-1 after four T20Is which were played in Karachi, the rest of the three matches will be played in Lahore from Sept 25 onwards.
Ahead of the fifth T20I, Babar Azam practiced in the nets and faced off against the young sensation Naseem Shah, who had made his T20I debut in the recent Asia Cup 2022. Shah, who is fast and furious, gave his captain some hard time in practice in Karachi.
There were some gorgeous drives and flicks on display from Babar, but Naseem Shah troubled him with a short ball as the Pakistan skipper missed his attempted pull.
The batter then had to defend some pacy deliveries by the young speedster but he was bettered when Babar slammed some extra cover drives on the up.
