‘Dunya ka sabse mehenga Tarbooz’- PCB gets roasted on Twitter for the new look Pakistan jersey

Pakistan will don this jersey in the England T20I series and the T20 World Cup 2022.

Pakistan's new design jersey | PCB TwitterThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on September 19, unveiled the new look Pakistan jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, which saw some hilarious reactions from fans on social media.

The PCB launched the new look design jersey on various social media platforms which featured the key players from both the Men’s and Women’s teams wearing the new thunder jersey. The new jersey has several diagonal patterns in two different shades of green at the front.

The launch featured images of Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah, Kainat Imtiaz, and Fatima Sana donning the new jersey. There are two versions of the design which will come into play when Pakistan plays another team who also has green kits.

PCB posted a video on Twitter with the caption: “The big reveal! Presenting the official Pakistan T20I Thunder Jersey'22

However, the fans on social media couldn’t control their emotions and the majority of them criticized the PCB for choosing a design that resembled a Tarbooz (watermelon). However, there were a few of them that liked the jersey as well.
