A new look and design Team India jersey for the T20I format were unveiled by the official kit makers of The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), MPL Sports on September 18, 2022. This new look jersey will be donned by the Indian team for their upcoming T20I clashes against Australia and South Africa.
The same jersey will also be worn by the Indian T20 World Cup 2022 squad members for the ICC event which will be played in Australia from October 16.
As compared with the jersey which India has been wearing in the limited overs format since the last year’s T20 World Cup, this new design is in a light blue shade something similar to the ones that India wore in the 2007 T20 World Cup.
This new design also features a darker shade on the shoulders which runs to the side panel with a pattern.
