Indian cricket fraternity wishes PM Narendra Modi on his 72nd birthday

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 72nd birthday today (September 17). One of the most popular leaders across the world, Narendra Modi became India’s prime minister for the first time in 2014 and won a second term in 2019. 

Under his leadership, India has become a world leader in politics gaining lost ground and standing. 

Narendra Damodardas Modi was born on September 17, 1950, In Vadnagar, Mehsana district of then Bombay state. Before becoming India’s PM, he was noticed for his work as the chief minister of Gujarat from 2002-2014.

PM Modi is also an avid cricket lover and follows both the Men's and Women's cricket teams closely, and often talks about their achievements in "Mann ki Baat", his radio show to address the nation.
