Indian cricket fraternity welcomes Ganpati Bappa on the holy occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day celebration of Bhagwan Ganesh done by Hindus all over the world.

All the Hindus not only in India but also everywhere in the world welcomed Bhagwan Ganesh into their homes as the holy occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The 10-day festival kicked off with Hindus bringing idols of Ganeshji, who is the son of Bhagwan Shiva and Devi Parvati into their homes.

The festival celebrates Lord Ganesh as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the god of wisdom and intelligence. In India, it is celebrated with people making elaborate designs and dioramas with Ganeshji in the center.
