Suresh Raina, former India cricketer has been out of action for quite some time. He last played in a league match in IPL 2021 in Abu Dhabi for Chennai Super Kings against Rajasthan Royals.
He was released by the CSK franchise ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and to the shock of many, went unsold as no franchise showed interest in buying the former India captain. Since then, Raina has shown no indication of returning to the game and has been busy with media assignments.
However, on August 23, 2022, Suresh Raina sent social media into a frenzy as he shared a video of himself gearing back for a return to the field. In a video clocking at 26 seconds, Suresh Raina can be seen padding up and then facing some bowlers in Ghaziabad, his hometown in Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the Suresh Raina fans went crazy on Twitter speculating a return in yellow for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and shared their joy on the platform.
