India’s premier speedster, Jasprit Bumrah, on Tuesday (August 23), gave a glimpse of his road back to full fitness to his fans amid the concerns over his availability for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 after he was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022.
The senior pacer has been out of action since the tour of England in July 2022 owing to a back spasm, which forced him to sit out of the Asia Cup 2022 in the UAE. However, Bumrah has now started training at the National Cricket Academy and looks in pretty good shape.
Bumrah, currently undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy, took to Instagram to post a video of his training with the caption, "no hurdle big enough".
On Tuesday, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to post a video of his training where he can be seen sprinting and doing acrobatic exercises. He is also seen performing multiple drills like jumping hurdles and throwing a ball, using the full force of his back, which looks to be recovering well in the video.
He captioned the video: “No hurdle big enough.”
It will certainly give a sigh of relief to the Indian fans, as the BCCI will reportedly announce their squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 on September 15, and Bumrah has to regain his fitness to be part of the event.
