Cheteshwar Pujara is in red hot form for the Sussex county cricket club as he slammed his second consecutive List-A century for them, making 174 against Surrey on August 14 in Hove in the Royal London Cup one-day tournament.
Pujara, who is captaining Sussex, slammed 174 in 131 balls with his last 74 runs coming in just 28 balls after he reached his century in 103 balls. He hit a total of 20 fours and 5 sixes. This is not only Pujara’s own highest List-A score but also for a Sussex batter in the format.

This 174 also became the highest List A score by an Asian batter at a domestic one-day tournament in England.
After the match, which Sussex won comfortably by 216 runs after posting 378/6 and bowling out Surrey for 162, Pujara posted clips from the game on his Instagram account. In the video, Pujara’s 4-year-old daughter Aditi can be seen clapping and dancing while reacting to Pujara coming back to the pavilion after his record knock.
