Indian team shares their joy and pride as India celebrates 75 years of Independence

For the dilettante, the nation has completed a landmark 75 years of Independence this year. It is a landmark occasion in the history of India which gained independence in 1947 from the British Empire. The flag hoisting ceremony among other ritual events takes place at New Delhi's historic Red Fort.

This year, the central government promoted the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative in which the regular citizens of the country were encouraged to fly the tricolor at their houses and it received an overwhelming response from everyone.

Also the country is celebrating 75 years if Independence in what has been dubbed as 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

Celebrating this amazing occasion, Indian cricket team members took to Twitter to wish Indian citizens on this landmark occasion.
