South Africa bowling legend Dale Steyn’s words for the next generation of Proteas has made the fans of the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) very happy. Steyn made a huge prediction for future South Africa stars Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs, which led to MI fans feeling giddy.

This came after the first T20I between England and South Africa in Bristol. After the home team posted a mammoth score of 234/6 in 20 overs, South Africa produced a quality fight before eventually falling short by 41 runs.

The star of South Africa’s valiant chase was young Tristan Stubbs who slammed 72 runs off just 28 deliveries, hitting two fours and eight sixes in his innings after coming into bat at 86/4.

The 19-year-old Brevis is yet to make his debut for South Africa, while Stubbs was also brought in by MI in IPL 2022 as an injury replacement for Tymal Mills and made his debut for the franchise.

Stubbs, Brevis. Next 10 plus years the world will be entertained,” Steyn wrote on his Twitter account.
