WATCH: Marnus Labuschagne’s dog turns fielder as he plays ‘campsite cricket’ on a rough pitch

Apart from the batting exploits, the 28-year-old has also become a fan-favorite because of his social media activities.

Labuschagne is quite active on the micro-blogging site Twitter. He often posts hilarious tweets which leave the cricket fans in splits.

On Tuesday (July 26), Labuschagne shared a video, in which he can be seen play some ‘campsite cricket’ where he displayed a range of strokes including the pull, straight drive and a cut. Funnily, he had his dog as a fielder which made for some fascinating viewing.

He captioned the video: “Some campsite cricket on one of the rougher pitches I’ve ever played on. It also produced a certified “lowey”.”

Marnus Labuschagne was last seen in action during the tour of Sri Lanka, where he featured in five ODIs and two Tests. While the right-hander registered scores of 24, 18, 29, 14 and 31 in the 50-over series, he returned with scores of 13, 104 and 32 in the Test series.
