Former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri hosted the IPL 2022 closing ceremony, ahead of the final game of the season between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR), at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 29.

The crowd went berserk when Shastri shouted “Kemchho, Ahmedabad?” in his baritone voice, setting the mood for the last game of this edition of the league.

A 50-minute closing ceremony took place ahead of the final game of the richest cricket league in the world.

As soon as Bollywood star Ranveer Singh began his performance in the song "Jeetega Jeetega" from his movie ‘83’, people went crazy. Dancing to the tune, Singh took a lap around the ground, in the company of his fellow dancers.
