Former India cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri hosted the IPL 2022 closing ceremony, ahead of the final game of the season between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR), at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 29.
The crowd went berserk when Shastri shouted “Kemchho, Ahmedabad?” in his baritone voice, setting the mood for the last game of this edition of the league.
A 50-minute closing ceremony took place ahead of the final game of the richest cricket league in the world.

Ravi Shastri, the star all-rounder from India’s World Cup-winning team in 1983, is often regarded as one of the most entertaining cricketers.
