On Day 3 of Sussex's County Championships match against Durham on Saturday, Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan had a terrific partnership together, adding 154 runs together to put their team in a position of advantage.
Pujara, who has been in fantastic form since joining Sussex, hit his second double-century for the club, hitting 203 off 334 balls, and forming a 154-run partnership with Rizwan, who also made a vital 79 off 145 balls.
The senior Indian batsman was on 107 at the start of the second innings, helping his team to a big lead against Durham, who were all out for 223 in their first innings. Sussex's domination was extended on the third day of the match thanks to Pujara's efforts, with their innings concluding at 538 for a significant advantage of 315 runs.
Durham was 38 for no loss in their second essay, still behind Sussex by 277 runs, with Sussex enforcing the follow-on.
Meanwhile, Sussex released a video of Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammad Rizwan in conversation as the India batter got ready for his turn in the nets, while the Pakistani keeper was wrapping his up.
