India and Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma celebrated his 35th birthday on Saturday (30th April). The right-hander was showered with loads of wishes from many fans and pundits across the globe.

One of the best wishes came from Sharma’s India teammate Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner took to his official Instagram account and posted a few pictures with the MI skipper and gave fans glimpses of their bond.

Chahal posted a heartfelt message and said that his love and respect for Rohit will always be constant and in him, he sees his big brother.

Here’s Chahal’s post:

Chahal’s picture with Sharma made the Indian skipper’s wife Ritika Sajdeh react hilariously to it and say that the duo’s pictures are more romantic than the couple.

“The last picture got me. your photos are more romantic than mine,” Ritika said.

Replying to this Chahal said that his wife Dhanashree Verma also feels the same thing.

“I'm sure bhabhi my wife also has the same thing to say," he wrote.

Notably, both Chahal and Sharma share a great camaraderie. The duo has often posted videos and pictures on social media that have left many in splits.

Coming to their performance in the IPL 2022, the leg-spinner is having a dream time in the tournament as he’s the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 19 wickets to his name. On the other hand, Rohit is not having the best of time both as a skipper and as a batter in the ongoing IPL 15.

Under him, Mumbai Indians have lost eight out of their nine matches and are placed last on the points table. They registered their first win on his birthday against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

With the bat, MI skipper has so far only scored 155 runs at an average and strike rate of just 17.22 and 126 respectively.
