Sachin Tendulkar, the man who means so much to so many people and arguably the greatest cricketer the game has ever seen, celebrated his 49th birthday on Sunday (April 24). Many current and former cricketers including the likes of Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, and Yuvraj Singh took to social media to wish the former cricketer.

Among others, the official Twitter account of the International Cricket Council (ICC) published a video about Sachin Tendulkar – the bowler, in which they highlighted some of the Master Blaster's most memorable moments with the ball.
“One of the greatest batters that India ever produced. But also an entertaining occasional bowler. Happy birthday @Sachin_rt” the ICC tweeted.
The ‘little master’ responded with a clever remark: "Taking wickets was equally fun as scoring runs. Thanks for the wishes."
Apart from scoring over 34000 runs for India in all forms, the 'master blaster' claimed 200 wickets with his off-spin, leg-spin, and medium pace in all three formats, including two five-wicket hauls — against Australia and Pakistan in 1998 and 2005, respectively, at Kochi.
Sachin is currently mentoring the 5-time Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI). MI will next take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday (April 30) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
