It was then Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali, playing for Lancashire, produced a brilliant spell that demolished the batting team and played a pivotal role in restricting Gloucestershire to 252/10.

The seamer ended up with magnificent figures of 6/47 in 17 overs. The 8-times county champions, Lancashire, on the back of a spectacular double century by Josh Bannon (231) and a fine century by Dane Vilas (109) posted a mammoth total of 556/7.

In the second inning, Hasan Ali continued his brilliance with the ball. The 28-year-old pacer bowled a sizzling yorker that shattered the middle stump into two pieces, leaving Gloucestershire batter James Bracey perplexed.

The incident occurred in the 25th over, and Lancashire uploaded a video of it on social media.

With 3 wickets to his name, Hasan Ali ended up taking 9 wickets in the match, driving his team to an innings and 57-run victory over Gloucestershire.
