Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and his daughter Athiya praised Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul for his heroics against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 26 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 in Mumbai.
In what was his 100th IPL game, Rahul stood tall for his side and led from the front to help LSG register their fourth win of the season. Opening the batting, the right-hander smashed his third century in the league and helped his side post a mammoth total of 199 runs on the board.
Rahul played one hell of an innings and made a mockery of MI bowlers by smashing them all over the park. The LSG skipper smashed unbeaten 103 runs in just 60 balls, which put the opposition on the back seat and subsequently lose the match by 16 runs.

Rahul’s heroics was lauded by many fans and pundits and even earned him the Player of the Match award. He also became the second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing tournament with 235 runs to his name from 6 matches.
His girlfriend Athiya Shetty and her father Suniel Shetty also lauded him for his third IPL ton. The veteran actor, Suniel, took to his official Instagram account and posted the picture of LSG skipper Rahul, praising him for scoring 100 in his 100th game.
He also wrote: “Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise.”
Athiya shared Rahul's picture on her Instagram story and posted a heart with it.
