Australia wicketkeeper Matthew Wade put on an outstanding effort to run-out Maheesh Theekshana in the fourth T20I against Sri Lanka. Theekshana tried his best but he couldn't beat Wade's quick work with the gloves.
The incident took place in the 19th over of the Sri Lankan innings, when Chamika Karunaratne tried to steal a single off Jhye Richardson's delivery. He hit the full toss straight to Aaron Finch at the cover and went for a single.
Finch collected the ball and threw it to the wicket-keeper's end where Wade did the rest of the job. The wicketkeeper was fast enough to not give any opportunity to the non-striker Theekshana.
