India women batter Harmanpreet Kaur's poor form continued as she was dismissed on 13 runs in the third ODI against New Zealand. It was an unfortunate run-out for Harmanpreet, who wasn't quick enough to get back in the crease on time after hitting the ball to the bowler.

The incident happened in the 28th over with India in a strong position. Harmanpreet was batting on 13 when she stepped outside the crease on a delivery from Frances Mackay and hit it straight back to the bowler.

Instead of stepping back into the crease, she stood outside the crease and paid the penalty. Mackay quickly threw the ball back to the wicketkeeper who removed the bails off and dismissed the Indian batter.

Harmanpreet was late in putting a dive due to which she failed to get inside the crease in time. She has been going through a rough patch and hence needed to play a big knock with fingers pointing towards her.

India ended up losing the match by three wickets, and it was their third consecutive loss in the series. The hosts completed the second-highest successful run chase in the history of women's ODI as India yet again failed to defend an imposing total of 279 runs.
