The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7 match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators was trending on social media. The reason was a heated face-off between Ben Cutting and Sohail Tanvir during the match.
Cutting made an offensive gesture to Tanvir after smashing him for four sixes in the 19th over of Zalmi's innings. In the next over, he was dismissed by Naseem Shah and the catch was taken by Tanvir, who gave it back to the Zalmi batter.

The Aussie scored 36 runs off 14 deliveries, which turned out to be an important cameo for his team as they won the match by 24 runs. Zalmi posted 185/7 in the first innings, and restricted Gladiators for 161/8 in 20 overs.
Putting more light on the Cutting-Tanvir clash, it all started back in 2018. Tanvir had showed middle finger to Cutting during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2018) tournament.
The ex-Pakistan bowler had shattered Cutting's stumps and followed it up with a vulgar send-off. Seems like Cutting was waiting for the right time for a payback.
